ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY

Astro-English: from Astronese, the term analipsocentrism is based on the Greek word análipsi meaning ascension and is adjoined to the suffix -centrism to denote a type of belief that fixates on a certain subject, altogether meaning “a centrality placed on the concept of transcension.”
